Would absolutely stay here again! The location was perfect and the surroundings were like a painting. My favorite activity was driving to the back of the property and star gazing! The Northern Lights would be incredible from here.

We had a great stay. John is very nice and helpful. The house is spacious, cozy, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed and much more. The area is beautiful, and the location is perfect for visiting Watkins Glen and Ithaca. We would be happy to stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, simple, and remote cabin. It was peaceful and quiet, with deer wandering right through the site—truly a relaxing escape. Sara was incredibly accommodating with every “request” and made us feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable, and all the extra amenities left in the cabin were such a thoughtful touch. Even the porta potty was impressively clean! We didn’t want to leave and are already planning to come back—with friends or family next time. Highly recommend!

What a perfect place to stay for a weekend at Watkins Glen International. The hosts thought of everything and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. I really appreciated that, especially since we were back and forth to the track all weekend. Thanks for a great stay in a very comfortable house!

We loved our stay! The house was perfect and we loved the property.
It was easy to get to Watkins Glen SP, Corning and Ithaca. They provided nice soft throw blankets and coffee, teas. Everything we needed was there. They were also quick to respond to any questions. Definitely would recommend staying here.

The farmhouse was the perfect place to stay at in Watkins Glen! Being so close to the race track and a bunch of wineries, it was the perfect location! The house was very homey and clean and had everything you could need. I would highly recommend John’s place to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay at in Watkins Glen!

This home was immaculate and exactly as described. So well appointed! No worries if you forgot to bring something! It was there. Great coffee bar. Drip, Nespresso, Keurig. Whatever suits you.
Beds were comfortable. Linens perfect.
Don't hesitate to stay here. You won't be disappointed.

We had a fantastic stay at this rental near Watkins Glen International! The house was spotless on arrival—very clean and well-kept, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The beds were cozy, and the living space was immaculate.
The location couldn’t be better—just a short 2 minute drive to the racetrack and also convenient to Watkins Glen State Park, downtown restaurants, and Seneca Lake. After a busy day of racing, it was great to come back to such a peaceful, well-maintained home. Look forward to returning!!

Our cabin was simple but awesome. A comfortable bed, a loft, and some awesome views. All that you could need for spending the weekend outdoors. I will definitely be returning soon!

We've stayed in the area several times to visit WGI, and Johns house was our favorite place so far. Couldn't beat the location - just a minute or two to the track and less than ten to town. We are a young family and found the house well supplied with ample space for play. We loved exploring the property, making smores in the firepit and relaxing in the outdoor spaces. John and Kelly were responsive hosts. A great stay overall!

This was our second stay, and it definitely won’t be our last. We love the house, and John and Kelly are fantastic, thoughtful hosts. The home is beautifully maintained inside: the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, everything is spotless and in perfect working order, and we really appreciated the central heating and AC. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning whenever we’re back in Watkins Glen.

What a fantastic property! We absolutely adored our little slice of heaven on Sarah and John’s property. The cabin was perfect, the outhouse was the cleanest I have seen in recent history, the directions to the very secluded lower cabin were so detailed it made finding our way in a breeze! John met us and ensured we had everything we would need, and was more than gracious, giving us lots of local spots to check out as we are not from the area. We are experienced backpackers and backcountry campers so this was the perfect blend of simple and spoiled for us! The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up in the morning. Looking out over the creek, nestled in the woods, drinking my morning tea and listening to wildlife was just what I needed. We will definitely be back.
